Los Charros is family owned and operated by Guillermo Bravo and his son Carlos, who opened the restaurant in it’s original location in 1986. Father and son are 1st and 2nd generation from Mexico and are honored to bring to you authentic dishes as prepared South of the border.

Along with delicious authentic dishes, we present to you another “taste” of Mexico in our name, “Los Charros”. The name comes from the official sport of Mexico, “Charreadas”, which is a competitive event similar to rodeo and was developed from animal husbandry practices used on the haciendas of old Mexico. The sport has been described as "living history," or as an art form drawn from the demands of working life.

The “charro” are traditional horseman from Mexico, and they compete in the Charredas. The charro wear closely fitted suits, chaps, boots, and  wide brim sombreros.

Papa Willie (Guillermo Bravo) and Carlos named the restaurant for their shared love of horse riding and the traditions that come with it. We are honored to share with you our traditions, our history, and of course, our food. We look forward to serving your family at Los Charros.
